June 3rd 2026, 14:00 – 16:00, UCO 32

GloPost is delighted to invite you to a talk by Dasha Chechushkova and screening of her 2022 short film Intermezzo. Made in Italy following the full-scale invasion, the film reflects on conditions of deprivation, distance, and the experience of living far from home during the war.

Born in Odesa, Ukraine in 1999, Dasha is a non-media artist whose practice centers on creating situations, relational art, and total installations. After studying at the College of Arts named after Mitrofan Grekov (2014–2018), Chechushkova entered the National Academy of Arts in Kyiv, later shifting from graphics to the theory and history of art (2018–2023). Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, she has lived in Lviv and now resides in Kyiv. Her work explores trauma, memory, monuments, liminality, imitation, and the idea of ‘honouring tradition’.

Dasha is joining us from her current residency at the Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop.
